We went out on Sunday Sept.19th for the afternoon tour and it could not have been a more perfect experience! Tom was an amazing guide, super knowledgeable and funny! We saw so many whales - killer whales with a tiny baby! Humpacks that put on a show for us (breached twice!). Then many sea lions and seals. It was an incredible experience. I especially love Eagle Wing Tours because they give back by donating to conservation and research groups.Agogman

This was our 4th whale watching tour with Eagle Wing. Eagle Wing far better than Prince if Wales (we went with them once and didn’t see any whales at all!) This was our 4th whale watching tour with Eagle Wing. Eagle Wing far better than Prince if Wales (we went with them once and didn’t see any whales at all!) Eagle Wing has the best guides and the fastest, smoothest boats with the longest range so you can see more whales. And did we ever see whales! Humpback whales right beside the boat and swimming right under the boat! The whales came up and looked at us and they were so close we could have touched them. Incredible! And we could hear them communicating with each other because Eagle Wing had an underwater microphone to broadcast the whales’ calls. Amazing! And we saw orcas, sea lions, seals, very rare brown pelicans, and a walrus, all on one trip! It was the best whale watching tour we’ve ever been on! Worth every penny! It was a very well rounded tour and the guides were clearly just as excited as all of the guests when the beautiful marine friends! Our adult family of 4 went on an unforgettable, nearly 5 hour afternoon to evening tour on July 24, 2021. The tour was incredible & beyond our expectations. We toured in the comfortable catamaran, 4 Ever Wild, which was also Covid-safe. The team was professional, environmentally & ecologically sensitive to the wildlife & ensured appropriate distance from the orcas. The awesome crew was Captain Brett, Caitlin’s, Izzy & Melissa. The naturalist & other crew were informative & knowledgeable about the area & marine life. They were also attentive to the comfort of our special needs son. (Thanks NB for telling us all about Eagle Wing Tours) We were thrilled at all we saw & experienced on the way to & from Fulford Harbour: - a large, transient orca pod that included “Jumping Jack,” the majestic & agile bull - countless amazing videos & photos were taken of the orcas diving, breaching, spy hopping - nesting cormorants & seagulls on a huge island rock, a bald eagle, harbour seals & pups We didn’t get out in the other direction to Race Rocks to see stellar sea lions, but we were excited about what we did see. We felt relaxed, not rushed, comfortable. It was ocean & sea life therapy with calm waters & perfect weather conditions. We were happy to get out as locals on the tour before the tourist rush. We also supported local businesses at Fisherman’s Wharf after the tour: Barb’s Fish & Chips, Pirate Pizza & Jackson’s Ice Cream. We highly recommend Eagle Wing Tours for their experience, knowledge of the area & marine life. We can’t wait til we can do this again!GoPlaces605340

Eagle wing went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience! We ended up seeing two pods of Orcas meeting up, with displays which included jumping out of the water, tail an fin slapping and generally just playing around. It was truly incredible! Our crew then extended our trip to bring us to see two humpback whales with a calf. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
