He told us all about the different areas we were driving through on the way to Versailles. His knowledge of history and art made Versailles come alive for us. I believe we were supposed to explore the gardens on our own but he gave us a great tour of the gardens, as well. Highly recommend!Kevin the first was our tour guide… very knowledgable and witty. We were hesitant about going to Versailles with our 9 year old daughter but this tour made the trip worth it and extremely memorable. The 45 minute drive from our hotel in Paris flew by as our guide Julian told us everything we needed to know about French history surrounding Versailles. He was incredibly knowledgeable but able to explain everything in a way my daughter could understand and found interesting. The tour itself was fascinating and we learned so many interesting facts beyond your typical tour. Everything was catered to our daughter including how our guide would get down so she could hear and understand clearly. The timing of the morning was perfect and we were never bored or overwhelmed. If you have kids, this is the way to see Versailles!We had a great day here at the most amazing, spectacular palace where Henry the 14th and queen Antoinette lived.
