Best day ever! Our guide, Zara was so pleasant and knowledgeable about the history of France and French Royalty. She picked us up at our hotel , Raphael and briefly drove us around some beautiful sights in Paris on the way to Versailles. She showed us all around the Versailles properties and made everything come alive in a way only she can do. We truly enjoyed the day at Versailles. Our guide picked us up and delivered us to the front of the palace. It was a short walk and we were at the front of the line and entered the palace. The guide escorted us through the crowds in managed to make sure we were able to see everything the palace had to offer. She was very knowledgeable about the palace, its art and furnishings, and the history of its development. Following the palace, we were able to take a lovely stroll through the gardens and enjoyed lunch at a restaurant on the grounds. We completed the visit with tours of the other two small palaces on the grounds and had a pleasant trip back to our hotel.
