Laura was a terrific guide. Very charismatic and knowledgeable. Would recommend this tour. Awesome day.Too much walking. I would have combined a bike or golf cart for the garden and Triannon portion. Our guide Laura was fun, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about all facets of the tour. You can tell she loves her job and French history.

This is a great tour made even better by our fantastic guide Anne-Sophie whose knowledge of the palace and the gardens made it even better. It was interesting how she interwove French history with the history of the palace and its inhabitants contrasting with the lives of the French population at the time. Any questions were welcome and answered with authority and enthusiasm. I’d like to thank her for taking care of my partner who had mobility issues and in order for him not to miss out, she arranged for him to take the petit train to the Trianon and meet us there. She also made sure he was ok once we’d arrived so many thanks for doing that, it was much appreciated. I’d recommend this tour with this company and if you do book with them, hope Anne-Sophie is your guide. As a side note, there is a lot of walking and if it’s a hot day take plenty of water, comfortable shoes and sun screen. The whole experience was fantastic as far as our tour and guide was concerned. 10/10 and so pleased we did it.Anne Sophie you made this visit to the palace of palaces unforgettable. Your knowledge your enthusiasm and your desire to leave no query unanswered was just enthralling and made you forget tired feet and hot faces. My wife Sonja most heartily joins me in thanking you and Viator. Darius Shroff

My friend and I signed up for this tour not knowing what to expect, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Anne-Sophie was our guide and she was incredible - super knowledgeable, funny, charming, and in tune with the group. We joked for the rest of our Paris trip about wanting to rent her as a friend, but we were only half kidding! The palace was beautiful and so interesting, but the petit Trianon and hamlet really added to the experience. I was concerned after reading reviews about the physical demands of this tour but we did not find it difficult, nor were we too tired to do more the next day. I wouldn’t hesitate to do this tour again when I’m in Paris in the future!
