We were a bit taken back at the condition of Versailles which we expected to be pristine …I guess they are short of staff like everyone else, and the gardens were not in bloom. The Monet Gardens were pristine and in full bloom which made it quite inspiring. This is a perfect full day trip when staying in Paris. This is not a small group activity as the Paris Vision website states but it was terrific and well worth the money. Modern tour bus; easy to follow arrival instructions. Our guide Martine was amazing and spoke impeccable English. Had enough time in both locations and lunch was utterly amazing. Gorgeous setting in the Normandy countryside and delicious food, aperitif, wine and coffee all included. Definitely try and do this on a day with good weather. We did and it was a day to remember.
