To say that it was awe inspiring to see something so ancient, powerful, and beautiful up close is the understatement of the century, and it was beyond beautiful! Our guide Mark was wonderful! Very informative and friendly, and made sure everyone in our group was comfortable with the crampons and equipment. I can't recommend this tour enough! This was really excellent and we felt very safe throughout. They provided all the equipment at the outset and the hike and ice cave was really interesting.

This hike was a great way to explore a glacier and learn more about it. The tour took place on the Falljökull glacier and although the experience is advertised as around 4 hours long the time on the glacier was not that much. We had to wait for a long time until everyone got the necessary equipment and put it on them correctly at Skaftafell before driving to the actual hiking place. Even though the group walking together on the glacier was a small one, there were many other groups nearby so we had to move quickly to make way for the next group. This didn't give the best impression and showed how much destruction happens to the glacier because of those tours. The tour was informative and the guide was very friendly but the whole experience felt a bit rushed.
