From the ferry, we follow a almost flat pedestrian path, overlooking the Como lake, called "Passerella degli Innamorati"(lovers' catwalk) to reach the magnificent Villa Monastero. It will be the opportunity, through a guided nature walk, to discover the ecosystem of water with its many inhabitants, including grebes, coots, swans and ducks

Our nature walk continues along the path called "Greenway of the Patriarchs" to discover other secrets of nature. We will pass from the famous cemetery of the English and from the strange and mysterious geological phenomenon of Fiumelatte

In the afternoon, return to Varenna and guided naturalistic visit to the splendid gardens of the Villa Monastero and its interiors.

Bellissimo borgo sul lago di Lecco, bella piazza con scalinate x giungere al lago, una bella passeggiata degli innamorati x arrivare al porticciolo xche' vuole girare in battello. Diversi ristoranti e gelaterie affollati da turisti stranieri...L'unica pecca non ho bevuto un < caffè > al banco perché bisognava sedersi al tavolino...affollatissimo ...parcheggio grande metà privato vi consiglio in settimana ...You just have to visit the Castle and enjoy the views. About €5 to get in and access to everything. Fantastic panorama and little cafe. Only criticism is the climb but more importantly coming back down. Very uneven path and in the wet, lethal.

Città incantevole, baciata dal lago! Si entra dal lato dell'imbarcadero, e si prosegue per la passerella panoramica fino a giungere al centro della cittadina pedonale baciata dal lago. Affascinante del suo modo di presentarsi, piena di scalinate per ritornare sulla strada statale! Questo sali e scendi nel sentiero del Greenwich, e in lontananza scorgere Villa Monastero affacciata sul lago con tutta la sua bellezza. Località multietnica, si possono incrociare giapponesi, americani, cinesi, francesi, olandesi tutti colpiti dal fascino di questa località, con i suoi locali con vista lago, i negozietti di lavanda e arte manifatturiera, le gelaterie artigianali. Posto ideale per passeggiate romatiche, per un drink con gli amici o solo per cogliere la bellezza di questo posto magico!
