An absolute amazing day and way to get an introduction to Vancouver. 5+ hours on a bike with Nick L as our fabulous tour guide who had so much knowledge about Vancouver, Canada, world history, architecture, ecosystems, sports, folk lore and the list goes on. He is very dedicated to his craft and answered every question that was thrown at him. Hands down the best part of our trip. And then an email followed recapping the day and ended with his recommendations for food, drink, books, documentaries, etc. Quite the perfect ending! My Bike Tour Guide’s name is Nick L. My Bike Tour Guide’s name is Nick L. Nick was so pleasant, knowledgeable and passionate! I’ve been on many tours and this was one of my favorites! I was so impressed with all the information he knew through out the ride. I liked that he would stop at strategic spots and would really explained the history of whatever we were shown. He answered so many questions with no hesitation and he also provided an email later, with all of his recommendations for the rest of my vacation. I will definitely be telling my friends about Nick and this specific bike tour.We had an eBike, private Grand Cycle Tour today with Nick. We take a lot of tours, and I will say this was hands down one of the best tours I have ever taken. Nick was knowledgeable, relaxed, informed, kind, funny and just the kind of guy you want to teach you about this city. Also, IMHO, a 5-...
We had an eBike, private Grand Cycle Tour today with Nick. We take a lot of tours, and I will say this was hands down one of the best tours I have ever taken. Nick was knowledgeable, relaxed, informed, kind, funny and just the kind of guy you want to teach you about this city. Also, IMHO, a 5-hour tour like this is the right kind of experience to invest in a private tour. We saw 500+-year old cedar and fir trees, beautiful Wood Ducks, Chinatown, Gastown, the Olympic Village, Stanley Park, a great lunch at Granville Island, Downtown, the Sea Wall and much much more. The city is easy to traverse with so many dedicated and protected bike lanes; Nick made us feel safe, and the eBikes made the ride easy. Nick even took the time to let my husband recreate a childhood memory in Vancouver on this private tour. If you are heading to Vancouver, and looking for a great way to learn about the city, I cannot recommend this more! Our tour guide, Nik was so helpful, friendly and informative. I had to have a child’s regular bike since there weren’t any electric bikes, small enough for me. That was kind of a bummer but the route was pretty flat so it worked out fine. Our tour guide, Nik was so helpful, friendly and informative. I had to have a child’s regular bike since there weren’t any electric bikes, small enough for me. That was kind of a bummer but the route was pretty flat so it worked out fine. I was traveling with four other ladies, and we all had so much fun on a beautiful day for a bike tour. We had to cut our tour short due to having to leave early for a tennis match and the bike shop worked it out for us to be met by another guide to take us back. We were sad to have to miss some of the tour, but that is our fault, not theirs. Cycle city made the whole experience so pleasant and worked with us so kindly I would love to go back and do it again! A big thank you to Nik and Cycle City 👍🏼It was such a beautiful day for a bike ride. Nick was our guide. He was amazing and he soo much knowledge to share with us.
