Visit one of the most famous beaches in the world: Scala dei Turchi or Turskish Steps, a white cliff sliding into the sea. Walk along the beach and swim in the clear water if you wish. You'll never forget the blue colour of the sea and the white colour of the cliffs

He responded immediately and confirmed the booking. He was incredible. His knowledge was impeccable, his presentation perfect and friendly manner was a joy. We discovered that we had found the Cristiano Ronaldo of the tour industry 😁😁. Apparently he appeared on Michael Portillo’s railway documentary about Sicily. We ditto all the positive comments abut Lorenzo Capraro, a private tour guide with Agrigento Experience. He was knowledgeable, friendly and energized. Touring with him so enhanced our visit to the Valley of the Temples and the archaeological museum. Ours was a whole day tour, but the afternoon tour that focused on the Valley would have been sufficient. For the morning portion of tour, his driver took us to the chalky cliff near Agrigento called the Turkish Steps and then dropped us in Agrigento for time on our own. We could have skipped the latter. It did seem a bit like filler.We contacted Lorenzo just one day ahead of our planned visit to the Valley of the Temples. He graciously met us at noon for a two-hour tour in the peak of the heat in order to accommodate our schedule for the day. We contacted Lorenzo just one day ahead of our planned visit to the Valley of the Temples. He graciously met us at noon for a two-hour tour in the peak of the heat in order to accommodate our schedule for the day. He gave us an excellent, detailed tour with many entertaining side stories and details about Sicily and its complex past. The tour equipped us for the rest of our experiences in Syracuse, Cefalu and Palermo. Lorenzo also spent some extra time with us as we asked about Agrigento and families (my husband was seeking out extended family tree information).
