Overview
The Turnagain Arm is a must-see any time of year, but it holds a different charm in the winter that is guaranteed to dazzle!
We meet all travellers at the Dena'ina Center for pick-up, but will drop off at any Anchorage hotel as the tour ends after dark. If your hotel is not listed, please get in touch with us to arrange your drop-off location.

What to expect
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, Mile 79 Seward Highway, Girdwood, Anchorage, AK 99587
Take a walk on the wild side as you're guided around the 200+ acre Conservation Center. Your guide will walk with you, sharing information about the various animals located at the facility. We will be sure to make time for the gift shop!
Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes
Pass By: Girdwood, Girdwood, Anchorage, Alaska
We will pass by Girdwood, if time allows we will drive through the town.
Stop At: Beluga Point, Mile 110, Seward Hwy Mile 110 Seward Hwy, Anchorage, AK 99516
A favorite for visitors and locals alike, Beluga Point is a must see stop along the Turnagain Arm
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Chugach State Park, Mile 115 Seward Highway, Girdwood, Anchorage, AK 99587
We will stop at various other points in Chugach State Park on our sunset drive back to Anchorage.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: 9700 Point Woronzof Road, Anchorage, AK 99502
Provided time and light allows, we will make one final stop at Point Woronzof where we'll catch the rest of the sunset and watch planes landing at Ted Stevens International Airport. If we're lucky there may be food trucks parked here to grab a snack before heading back for the evening!

This was hands-down one of the best tours I've ever done and the highlight of my very first trip to Alaska. Brittney is an amazing tour guide. She is knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. I loved every bit of the Turnagain arm drive up to Girdwood. Visit to Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center was magical. She was very accommodating in making stops when I wanted to check out different sights along the way. I loved that I got to grab a hot drink on the way back at a cafe in Girdwood as well. This trip would not have been the same without Brittney. She helped me have an elevated experience of the whole thing. I can't recommend this enough. Incredible value!
