I know a lot about massage and this place is the BEST PLACE IN SRI LANKA ! The owner is friendly staff is amazing ! And the message is the best one I had in this country ! I got 1 hours massage + a full facial ! Amazing !!!! Please go ! And you will enjoy ! I was lucky today was a hot day and a bit of rain! So the mix of this amazing treatment + the rain was fabulous ;-) I’m leaving tomorrow and I will go back for a 2 hours treatment again ! Before i drive to Colombo ! Again please go ! Oh and on top of that the owner is so friendly he came to pick me up and drop me in this crazy rain with no extra charge ! The place is something very busy so what’s app them and book ur appointment the same day or the day before ! Their very flexible;-) In french ! J’ai visité le spa aujourd’hui! This is my first time in Sri Lanka and my first Ayurveda experience. I think it’s important to understand that this is unlikely to be like a spa experience at your resort. This I was probably not aware of, however no reflection on Lakmal or the centre. A lack of understanding on my behalf. As we could not make a booking at our resort spa, we decided to come to the centre for the 2hr Shirodhara and massage package before heading to the airport for our flight home. Lakmal was very efficient in organising a booking and a tuk tuk to pick us and our luggage up. We received a warm welcoming from the staff and payment was easy in USD and local currency. I must admit that I was a little surprised how basic the room was, however it was clean, so wasn’t a problem. If you are expecting a fancy style spa treatment room, this is not the place for you. The Shirodhara was relaxing and a new experience for me. I do think they forgot to turn on the relaxation music until about half way through as all I could hear were the sounds from outside. Eventually they turned it on and this enhanced the experience. The massage was also good & firm moving from head to through the body. My feet were sensitive and I kept flinching on the poor lady but she eased up. We were very oily when the treatment finished and there was nowhere on site to shower, which we had to do before flying home. Lakmal very kindly took us up to a guest house offsite so we could shower & get ready. It was basic but better than nothing. We ate dinner at the restaurant next door, which I can thoroughly recommend and have reviewed separately. Lakmal then organised a driver to pick us up at a time when we were ready. This was all seamless. I think the important thing to focus on about this centre is the quality of the treatment which was very good. I can honestly say that I have returned home with softer skin and silky hair. A good outcome given that I’d just spent 3 days in a chlorinated pool. If you are wanting a fancy ambient spa, I would recommend considering alternative options. If I was to return to Sri Lanka I’d definately be keen to educate myself further about the benefits of Ayurveda and consider returning to the centre for other treatments. Masseuse Nayana with her strong and gentle hands thoroughly massaged without a break for around 1.5 hours, leaving over half an hour for shirodhara and inhalation. Could feel she was doing it with love and care. My friend really enjoyed the massage given by Shithru....

Felt so relaxed and rejuvenated,that went for 8 km trekking around Bentota after that:)I took the 2 hours massage of full body and it was really relax and professional,specially shirodhara&inhalation. I really recommend you to visit Betota Ayurveda Center when you will be in Bentota. Thank you because I fell like a new born baby!!! 🤣😄

The head massage releases so much tension all over, and then the leg, back and foot massage really helps smooth out those sore bits that you didnt even realise were sore! I would highly recommend...

I would highly recommend this place. The masseuse lady called Shiromi was fantastic (ladies ask for her) and very soothing. They are not shy with the oils and aroma too, plus they smell great.
