What to expect
Day 1: Visit to Uros and Amantani
Stop At: Uros Floating Islands, Lake Titicaca, Puno Peru
After leaving the port of Puno, we will visit 2 floating islands of the Uros, we will learn everything about this impressive culture with the help of the guide and a local resident, we will also have free time to explore the islands on our own.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Amantani Island, Lake Titicaca, Isla Amantani 21127 Peru
We will arrive in Amantani at midday, we will be received by the host families and we will settle in the houses, in the afternoon we will have a walk to the upper part of the island, where we will visit the "Pachatata" temple and also contemplate one of the sunsets. more beautiful.
At night we can be part of a small festive gathering with music and dances with the residents and other tourists in one of its communal halls.
The next day after breakfast we will continue the trip to the island of Taquile.

Day 2: Visit to Taquile
Stop At: Lake Titicaca, Taquile Island 21510 Peru
We will arrive at around 11am, we will have a demonstration of dance, music and its textiles by the population, we can also enjoy lunch with a view of the lake, as well as having free time to explore the island before returning to Puno.

Conocimos los Uros en Kayak y al día siguiente las islas de Amantani y Taquile. Me encantó que se adaptaron a nuestros horarios incluso pudiendo empezar el Kayak temprano para poder culminar a las 11 am (que tenía una reunión importante). Las experiencias fueron muy divertidas, los guías se trataban con mucha familiaridad con los pobladores de los Uros y las islas de Amantani y Taquile, creando un ambiente muy cálido y divertido. Un consejo si es la primera vez que llegas a Puno: la altura es de 3,800 msnm y en el recorrido de las islas tienes que ascender una pendiente moderada para llegar a tu hospedaje y para llegar a los templos arqueológicos (como 30 minutos aprox) así que tienes que llegar ya aclimatado o ir con precaución si no tienes ninguna preparación física.Lo mejor de toda la experiencia es el buen trato y calidad de servicio que te ofrece Puno Tours, velando siempre por la seguridad de los turistas cumpliendo todos los protocolos de salubridad y además de ello cuenta con unos guías excelentes que harán el tour más entretenido. Dopo aver fatto una tappa sulle isole galleggianti di Uros, ad Amantani abbiamo soggiornato da una famiglia locale; la notte fa freddissimo e ovviamente non vi è il riscaldamento ma ba...
Sono contentissima della mia scelta! Il lago e le due isole sono molto turistiche ma conservano la loro unicità. Dopo aver fatto una tappa sulle isole galleggianti di Uros, ad Amantani abbiamo soggiornato da una famiglia locale; la notte fa freddissimo e ovviamente non vi è il riscaldamento ma basta coprirsi bene. Il giorno successivo siamo andati a visitare Taquile che personalmente ho apprezzato ancora di più. Una menzione speciale va sicuramente a José Carlos, la nostra guida, una persona preparatissima e super disponibile.
