Nelson was amazing! So friendly, informative, funny and personable. He really went above and beyond letting us know some really important history and was so great at taking pictures too! He seemed to be good friends with a lot of the people all around and was telling us back stories of his friends and their Mayan heritage. He really made us feel comfortable, well taken care of, and easy to ask questions to. He knew the best spots to capture the true essence of the Mayan Tulum Ruins, both in photos, and in person with his tour route. He was explaining to us all about the sacred geometry and the sun and architecture. People around us were drawn in wanting to hear what he had to say. Highly recommend booking a tour with him! Also want to mention how he had recently injured his leg, making it painful to walk. This guy powered through and never complained. You can tell he is very passionate about his job and most importantly the Mayan culture. This is an excellent tour and highly recommended! Our guide, Eli, was very knowledgeable and provided our group with an informative, inciteful experience. Well worth the price.

You can do your own tour and read the display boards. Look out for the huge lizards on the rocks. It gets very hot so the earlier the better. Afterwards go for a swim at the beach.
