Overview
Bali Diving Academy has a fixed diving center in Tulamben, allowing us to have some of the best dive guides on the area, living on location and totally familiar with the reef and its inhabitants. Groups are kept small in numbers so that every diver will have the attention required.
We recommend this dive site especially for beginners because the current is usually gentle around the sites and the experience is truly amazing.

What to expect
Itinerary
This area is famous for the magnificent US Liberty Wreck (one of the most accessible wrecks in the world. Perfect for beginners 12 years old and up.
The day will start with pick up from your hotel (around 8 am) or meet directly at our dive shop.
There our experienced instructor will help you learn the basic of diving through a pool session.
After that you will be able to go for 1or 2 guided dives (depending on your choice) and explore the wonders of the underwater world.
A local lunch in between the dives is provided (if 2 dives option is picked).
Price is all inclusive of:
• Pick up from your hotel
• Pool session with PADI Instructor + 1 or 2 dives in Tulamben region
• Full set of diving equipment
• Cylinders and weights
• Set of lunch menu and mineral water (when 2 dives are done)
• Community contributions

- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Not wheelchair accessible
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

We arranged to dive with Bali Dive Academy before we left Australia - they arranged a package of 3 nights accommodation, 3 dives on the Liberty wreck (including a night dive) and 2 dives in Amed.a a driver met us at the airport and drove us to Tulamben. We arranged to dive with Bali Dive Academy before we left Australia - they arranged a package of 3 nights accommodation, 3 dives on the Liberty wreck (including a night dive) and 2 dives in Amed.a a driver met us at the airport and drove us to Tulamben. The company was very professional, on time and the diving was brilliant. I recommend diving the Liberty wreck early morning to avoid the crowds.... and the night dive is an experience! Our dive master Katuk was great - good fun and informative. He removed plastic from the coral which was good to see... we saw an abundance of ocean life - turtle, many small nudis and fish... recommended.maurizior903

Due splendide immersioni da riva per raggiungere facilmente il relitto "USAT Liberty Shipwreck" con la guida attenta e sapiente di Putu. Pesci, crostacei, coralli duri e molli, anemoni, tridacna giganti, cerianti multicolori, spugne, nudibranchi che avvolgono il relitto ed i dintorni. Dal fondo...
Due splendide immersioni da riva per raggiungere facilmente il relitto "USAT Liberty Shipwreck" con la guida attenta e sapiente di Putu. Pesci, crostacei, coralli duri e molli, anemoni, tridacna giganti, cerianti multicolori, spugne, nudibranchi che avvolgono il relitto ed i dintorni. Dal fondo sabbioso vicino svettano innumerevoli anguille di sabbia. Che dire altro? Una meravigliosa giornata attorniato da tanta bellezza! Superconsigliato! Concludo con queste ultime due immersioni dopo una serie fatte con le varie sedi di Bali diving academy (Sanur, Lembongan, Pemuteran, Tulanben). Ringrazio Bali diving academy per avermi accompagnato e fatto conoscere le più belle immersioni di Bali.
