The whole experience was absolutely amazing. The Tribe Gin School has a beautiful setup inside with a bar and the individual distilling stations that were hand crafted. Ciarán was a pleasure to talk to and learn from. He had so much knowledge and information not only about gin, but also about Irish history and the language. He has great recommendations for anyone looking to learn more about Ireland and sites to see while you're there. Even though we were the only people to book for the evening (which is shocking because they're normally quite busy!) he still presented the class as if it was a big group so we didn't miss a thing. On top of that we were lucky enough to get to know more about him and his partners in the business throughout the evening and ask any outrageous questions we could think of. From picking out our unique botanicals and watching the gin drip into our beakers to bottling, labeling and naming our gins the whole night was perfect. We can't recommend this enough to make a part of your stay in Galway!This place was fantastic, I cannot recommend it highly enough! The owners are are extremely friendly and help make it a very fun and educational experience. Overall, I had a great time and would recommend it to anyone visiting Galway, or anyone who has an interest in learning more about gin.

Ciaran was a great host and made everyone feel like family. He knows his stuff. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed.

I cannot recommend Tribe Irish Gin school experience enough. I brought two American friends while we were visiting Galway. It was the perfect way to start an evening in Galway. We had the pleasure of having Adam and Coaran as hosts. They were phenomenal. It was amazing to get the education of gin and distilling laced with the Galway history also. As a Mayo man I would recommend this to people from the area and also people who are visiting Galway from outside. You also get to leave with your own gin! Thanks guys for a great time!
