We had a wonderful time with the guide Si. While hiking, we saw variety of beautiful creatures in the Tien Son mountain. We could see Snakes, Termites, Toads, Snails, Banyan Tree and Lady palm. Si kindly gave us explanation about the living creatures and the story about the mountain. We spent 3 hours to get to the top, and it was totally worth it. At the peak, you will see the whole beautiful view of the PhuQuoc region. We also had a sunshine rest in the hammack at the peak. After that, we ate the local Ban Xéo, which was one of the best Vietnamese foods I’ve ever had. The green vegies were really fresh and taste good. And we also enjoyed swimming in the cool water in the waterfall after lunch. I highly recommend this trip ! Thank you Si! What a wonderful experience.... A unique hike in the forest with the awesome guide SI who is very acquainted with nature and the animals. The guide loves the area very much what makes the difference. Too hot..? First I thought it could be too hot for hiking. But after a short walk we were under a thick roof of leaves giving us shade and cooler air. So no problem at all. The food was outstanding and the whole tour as well. Thank you so much SI. 🎉🤩👍👍I took this trip with Si wanting to do something slightly different in Phu Quoc. I took this trip with Si wanting to do something slightly different in Phu Quoc. The trek is certainly that - the route is much more challenging than I was expecting, with steep ascents (and equally challenging descents) some involving rather rickety ladders. You need a degree of fitness and definitely need appropriate footwear. The view from the top is worth the effort. Si was very attentive and looked after me well. I learned a certain amount about Pho Quoc and the local wildlife - including the fact that a pedigree Phu Quoc Ridgeback is one of the most expensive dogs in the world. The ride on the back of his motorbike was also an experience! Si took me to lunch at a roadside stall - the sort that most tourists would be too nervous to visit - but where the hostess was very hospitable and cooked delicious local food ( including some leaves which we had collected on our walk)I highly recommend this trek, Our tour guide Si was awesome, extremely knowledgeable of the history of not only Phu Quoc, but Vietnam in general. I highly recommend this trek, Our tour guide Si was awesome, extremely knowledgeable of the history of not only Phu Quoc, but Vietnam in general. An authentic, nature loving experience of the island. A must do when you are in Phu Quoc. I’d do this first up, when you are on the island as Si can give you some great recommendations on what else to do for the rest of your trip.We just had the best experience with Si. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. His English was amazing. The trek was hard work, but the view was well worth it. And the lunch at the end was so good, one of the best meals we have had in Vietnam.
