THIS ACTIVITY IS PURPOSELY FOR AFRICAN-AMERICANS VISITING KUMASI, CAPE-COAST AND ACCRA GHANA FOR A TYPICAL TRADITIONAL NAMING CEREMONY, WHICH THEY WILL BE GIVEN NAMES DUE TO THE DAY YOU ARE BORN AND GIVEN A TYPICAL ASANTE NAME. YOUR NEW ASANTE NAME WILL BE WRITTEN ON A WEAVED KENTE SCRIPT AND A CERTIFICATE WILL BE PRESENTED TO YOU BY THE ASANTE CLAN THAT PERFORMED THE NAMING CEREMONY. AFTER THE TOUR YOUR WILL HAVE THE CHANCE TO VISIT THE NTONSO ADINKRA CLOTH STAMPING VILLAGE AND ADANWOMASE KENTE WEAVING VILLAGE.
