Traditional Home Cooking Class in Piacenza
Overview
Live an authentic culinary experience in Piacenza. Named 'pleasant place' (Placentia) by the Romans, Piacenza soon proved itself to be an important strategic location as well. Just short of the regional border with Lombardy, the contemporary city is perfect day-trip fodder. Its picturesque centre reveals a beautiful Gothic town hall and a couple of august churches. Enter a typical home and enjoy an amazing hands-on cooking followed by a convivial lunch.

Had a great cooking experience. It was just me and my hubby in Sara's home which was beautiful and elegant. Sarah spoke good English and with our broken Italian we managed well. We were taught how to make gnocchi and a sweet. Sarah also showed us how to make pancakes and the sauce for the gnocchi too. We were served the gorgeous food in her dinning room with wine and water. I would recommend this experience. Loads of good food, good wine and brilliant company. The only suggestion I would like would be a print out of the recipes. Thanks Sara
