It is a desert area, a geomorphological marvel. Our ancestors called it Las Salinas today known
known worldwide as Valle de la Luna, surrounded by a set of landscapes of incomparable beauty that resemble a
fragment of the lunar landscape to which it owes its name. In 1982 it was declared a Nature Sanctuary and is part of the
Los Flamencos National Reserve in this place you can see a geological spectacle of great interest, especially when
sunrise and sunset.
During your visit you can contemplate: the famous natural formation known by our ancestors as Los Tres
Watchmen today called Las Tres Marías, Duna Mayor; majestic body of sand and viewpoints such as; Quebrada Honda
where the famous Piedra del Coyote (Mirador de Ckari) is located.

The Valley of the Moon is a valley in the Los Flamencos National Reserve, in the Atacama Desert, in northern Chile.
We will also visit the Amphitheater, Duna Mayor, 3 Marías and the Ckari Viewpoint - Piedra del Coyote
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Duna Mayor, Coyo, San Pedro de Atacama, Antofagasta, Chile
A walk is made to climb the largest dune, of approx. 800mts....it is a central point from where you have a panoramic view and we will appreciate the Andes Mountain Range, amphitheater, salt mountain range, etc.
Duration: 40 minutes

Hice el tour con Javier y fue genial! Un calor horrible eso sí, pero el guía fue estupendo: buenas explicaciones, amabilidad, acierto con las fotos y cercanía. Lo recomiendo.
