What to expect

Itinerary

Day 1: City tour around Pasto / Singing to the Earth Parade (JANUARY 3)

Stop At: Pasto, Pasto, Narino Department
We will visit the main museums and places of Pasto and we will take a tour of the historic center of the city, while we listen to history and tour the city we will try different typical foods of the region such as paila ice cream, aged empanadas, lapingachos , among others.

Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Black and Whites' Carnival, Pasto Colombia
In the afternoon we will attend one of the most beautiful parades where the choreographers of the city perform giving a waste of art, dance and incomparable music, from here the 3 winners will be chosen to represent all the choreographers in the great parade of the sixth of January

Day 2: Castañeda Family Parade / Party Fiesta in Peña Andina

Stop At: Black and Whites' Carnival, Pasto Colombia
The Castañeda Family parade is one of the most traditional Carnival parades, here we will begin to live the Carnival party and get infected with its joy.
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Embrujo Andino Pena Bar, Carrera 23 N_19 - 58 Edificio Monserrat, Pasto 520003 Colombia
At night we will go to an Andean music bar where we will live a traditional festival of the region accompanied by typical drinks such as guayusa and boiled.

Day 3: Cocha Lagoon

Stop At: La Laguna de la Cocha, 1. 130298, -77. 150313, Pasto Colombia
In our mountains is the second largest lagoon in Colombia and the most important in terms of conservation, the Cocha awaits us with its magic, peace and tranquility where we can contemplate it from different points as well as tour the beautiful town of Encano known as Venice. from South America and also taste a delicious trout and a dessert of chilacuan, blackberry and peasant cheese.

Day 4: Grand Carnival Parade

Stop At: Black and Whites' Carnival, Pasto Colombia
The most important day of the entire Carnival, the Magno parade of Blacks and Whites, this day will be all about Carnival, joy and celebration.

Day 5: Wilke Waterfall, Sandoná / Day of the Guinea Pig

Stop At: La Florida, Narino, Colombia
We will visit the Wilke waterfall, located 40 minutes away in the municipality of Florida, here we will take a 30-minute easy level walk suitable for anyone without mobility problems. Upon arrival, a waterfall awaits us from the waters of the Galeras Volcano where the most animated can take a bath.

After visiting the Galeras waterfall, we will visit the town of Sandoná, famous for its toquilla straw handicrafts, its products derived from panela, and its good coffee.

we will visit the event dedicated to the guinea pig in the village of Obonuco in Pasto

Day 6: Las Lajas Sanctuary / Lagoon and Páramo de Cumbal

Stop At: Laguna de Cumbal, Cumbal, Narino, Colombia
To end our Carnival adventure through Nariño, we will first visit one of the emerging tourist places due to its nature and unique beauty, the lagoon at the foot of the Cumbal volcano surrounded by a majestic moorland and in the middle of the mountains will give us a breath of peace and tranquility. .

Stop At: Las Lajas Sanctuary, Ipiales 524068 Colombia
We will visit the most beautiful church in Colombia and according to experts the most beautiful in the world, located in the Guamuez canyon, 20 minutes from the city of Ipiales, one of the seven wonders of Colombia awaits us.
