Lagoa das Sete Cidades is the largest lake in the Azores Archipelago, making it the largest freshwater reservoir in the region. It is a single lagoon with two different colors, the green lagoon and the blue lagoon.
Here you will have the opportunity to contemplate the lagoon, the old abandoned hotel Monte Palace, see the Lagoa de Santiago and have a good time in the Sete Cidades area.

Lagoa do Fogo is one of the largest lakes in the Azores Archipelago, it is the second largest on the island of São Miguel and is also located on the second highest point on the island.
Here you will have the opportunity to see several viewpoints that overlook the beautiful blue of Lagoa do Fogo, as well as climb the mountain range where the lagoon's crater is located. At the top of the mountain, you also have the opportunity to see the city of Ribeira Grande.

Lagoa das Furnas is located in the parish of Furnas, municipality of Povoação.
It is one of the parishes where secondary volcanism is more present. You will have the opportunity to see this beautiful lagoon, the Chapel of Nossa Senhora das Vitória and the area where the famous Cozidos das Furnas are cooked.

This is a great tour for an overview of the island. It is a lot too see in one day so it is good to do it at the beginning of your trip. Artur is a great guide and so down to earth. He took us to a local place for lunch. The food was very good.

First and foremost Arturo is amazing! He really went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. My wife and only really only had 1 day to explore Sao Miguel so we decided to book a tour (and we're so glad we booked this one) Our tour consisted of my wife and i and another really great couple from Canada in a large van with plenty of space. Arturo took us to so many places that were so beautiful it honestly felt that we were on another planet! He treated us to a delicious lunch at a restaurant with more food than we could finish. I would without a doubt recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see all that this beautiful island has to offer. Muito Obrigado Arturo!!This was the best tour out of 3 that I did in São Miguel. Arturo was taking a great care of us, stopping at many beautiful viewpoints which other tours skipped and treating us with a lavish super delicious lunch. We checked off more locations than we could have imagined and look forward to seeing them again in the future once the weather is more agreeable.
