What to expect
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Fukuoka Tower, 2-3-26 Momochihama, Sawara-Ku, Fukuoka 814-0001 Fukuoka Prefecture
All in all, I rather enjoyed this experience. Coming down was absolutely easier than going up as I have a video of the decending portion of the trip only as evidence. This attraction is a staple on my Fukuoka Walking Tours and 1 Day Driving Tours but only on sunny days where the weather warrants a climb to the highest point in Fukuoka City. Cloudy and rainy days will rely more on Cultural attractions rather than visual ones!!

This was a wonderful full-day tour, with an English-speaking Australian who lived for 15-years in Kyushu and Japan. The posted itinerary of the Fukuoka or Nagasaki Tour was misleading because sites from both Cities were included as a continuous list in the tour description. Still, we appreciated the packed & practical itinerary going to, and coming from Nagasaki; with time to rest & recover on the way back to Fukuoka – many thanks, Shannon! We missed the chance to host an end-of-tour thank you dinner for our tour guide, Mr LeFebvre at his favorite katsu canteen but there were plenty of opportunities for eating & drinking throughout the trip. Kampai! We had a half day tour around Fukuoka with Shannon. Shannon does his best to ensure that we got to see everything we wanted and made sure that we felt very comfortable during the trip! Highly recommend if you would like to enjoy Fukuoka fully!

We also took a second tour with Shannon in NagasakiShannon is knowledgeable, friendly, and drove safely. The tour was well organized and he was flexible due to the changing weather.

Shannon was hands down our best guide while visiting Japan. He not only created a day for us based on our interests, but threw in some surprises, including a sake tasting, hot springs foot-bath, and a local market shopping trip so we could pick out our own freshly made lunch. We felt very well taken care of and left knowing that we just had the best tour of our 2 week vacation in Japan. We have happily hired Shannon Lefebvre twice for our two visits to Nagasaki. Yes, we did the usual tourist sites, but he also gives you an enjoyable glimpse of daily life in the area, including -- weather permitting -- a tasty picnic lunch and immersing your tired traveler's feet in soothing hot springs water. An excellent day trip for cruise ship passengers or other visitors to Nagasaki and vicinity.
