Pass By: Ponte Newton Navarro, Natal, State of Rio Grande do Norte Brazil
The tour starts with the Buggy exit from the hotel towards the north coast of the state. On the way we enjoy the beautiful look of the urban beaches, the meeting of the Potengi River with the sea above the Newton Navarro bridge. Our first stop is held at Redinha beach in the Natal Aquarium (optional entrance). We follow the tour of the famous dunes of Genipabu, scenario of novels like Cambalacho and The Flor do Caribe. In the midst of the lagoon, dunes and sea, we find the dromedaries (optional) that are the "Camels of the Northeast" and lead us to a desert-like walk. Until reaching the next beach you must cross the Ceará Mirim River on an artisanal ferry (not included in the price of the tour) on the beach of Barra do Rio and after enjoying the sea bath in the calm waters of Graçandu. In the dunes of Pitangui we find Lagoa as an oasis in the middle of the desert, with its calm and warm waters inviting us to the bath without leaving the place, because in the place there are tables and chairs on the edge of the lagoon to sit with our feet in the water. Then we passed by the Dunas Douradas where scenes of novels such as Tieta, O Clone and Caminho das Índias were recorded. In the dunes of Jacumã we find another lagoon and the optional games of aero-butt, sky-butt, kamikaze to have fun and enjoy the hot day. On the beach at Porto Mirim we stop at a seaside restaurant with a variety of regional dishes that appeal to all palates. Finally the Muriú Beach with all its tranquility as the final point of our script. This tour has plenty of sun, breeze and fun, all watered by professionalism.

We rented 2 buggies and our female drivers were very nice but one was extremely cautious, so even though we requested "com emocao" (with motion) - she drove very slow. The views, ski and aero-bunda were awesome and I would do this tour again just maybe with a different driver. The one German conservative driver speaks broken English only. So, trying to ask to stop at a location or stay longer at another was difficult. This tour is very set and there was no room for personalizing it or for any flexibility. I had read on here that the thing to do was to see the sunset at Genipabu but our driver would not allow us to do this because she said that some tour buggies were recently the victims of theft, etc if they were caught separated from other buggies. Not sure how much of this is accurate or just our conservative driver's feelings as she mentioned the tides, driving in the dark, too as troublesome for her. Still wouldn't miss doing this, it is quite a unique experience! Bring lots of cash if you want to take advantage of the cool activities and souveniers along the way :-). Boa Viagem!Quando fizerem o passeio, procurem pelo bugueiro Isan! Gente finíssima, super culto… e da uma verdadeira aula de história, geografia, fora as piadas. Sensacional. Recomendo!
