Day 5: hunza to visit attabad lake, passu con, s , sost khunjerab national park china border night stay hunza

Stop At: Khunjerab National Park, Islamabad Pakistan Pakistan
Drive to Khunjerab National Park: Continue your journey towards Khunjerab National Park, the highest national park in Pakistan, located at the border with China. The drive from Sost to the park entrance takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

Explore Khunjerab National Park: Once you reach the park, explore its beautiful landscapes, including the vast meadows and wildlife. If you're lucky, you might spot some wildlife like ibex or marmots.

China Border: If possible, visit the actual China-Pakistan border at Khunjerab Pass, which is a short drive from the park entrance. It's a unique experience to stand at the border with China.

The highest point of the area is Too Popdan, at an altitude of 6, 106 metres (20, 033 feet) above sea level, also known as “Passu Cones” or “Passu Cathedral”. On the Northern side of the Passu village are Passu-Sar, Shispare-Sar and Batura Glaciers.
