Thankyou to our guide Manami and ABC Cooking School teacher Kanori for a fabulous experience today. The fish markets are well worth it and Manami made the experience much more valuable as she could explain what all the incredibly unusual food was and also the significance of why it is eaten in Japanese culture. Also when certain foods are eaten such as New Year. The sushi making cooking class was a fun family experience. We learned how to make miso soup from scratch, omelette japanese style, sushi roll, and sushi balls before enjoying eating them all for lunch with some Shochu and Awamore tasting (like Sake). Highly recommend this tour both from a foodie, cultural and family experience.
