Overview

Within a day from Tokyo, you can have the chance to explore both top temple and shrine in Kyoto, along with the historic area of Gion where Geisha are spotted, along with Nara deers park and Todaiji temple . Itenerary is shown here, however, you can still customize it in arrangement with the guide.

Stop At: Nara Park, 469 Zoshicho, Nara 630-8501 Nara Prefecture

After 2 hours of bullet train to Kyoto, the car with the driver will be waiting for us in Kyoto station. The car will take 1 hour to reach Nara. Nara deer park is a public park with 1200 Sika deers that are considered a symbol of the city and have even been designated as a natural treasure

Stop At: Todaiji Temple Cultural Center, 100, Suimoncho, Nara 630-820 Nara Prefecture

Todaiji temple is one of the most impressive temples in Japan that was built in the mid-700s, with one of Japan's largest bronze Buddha statues

Stop At: Kinkakuji Temple, 1 Kinkakujicho, Kita-ku, Kyoto 603-8361 Kyoto Prefecture

After finishing Nara, the car will take us for an hour back to Kyoto to visit Kinkakoji temple. Also known as the Temple of the Golden Pavilion, built in 1397 as a three-story Zen temple in northern Kyoto. The temple is famous for having its top two floors completely covered in gold leaf and framed by pine trees, with its reflection glistening in a pristine pond. The temple had an impressive structure built overlooking a large pond and is registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.

Stop At: Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, 68 Fukakusa Yabunouchicho, Fushimi-ku, Kyoto 612-0882 Kyoto Prefecture

A 1300-year-old gorgeous shinto shrine and a beautiful piece of Japanese history. This shrine is one of the most iconic sights in Japan and the most visited shrine in Kyoto. The shrine has many great attractions including the 10, 000 vermilion torii gates and foxes’ statues that are great to see and walk through. The walk through the thousand gate (senbon torii) walk offers some spectacular views.

Stop At: Gion, Kyoto 605-0074 Kyoto Prefecture

Kyoto city's entertainment district, particularly for the refined performers known as Maiko and Geisha who have enthralled patrons for centuries. Gion is full of handsome, understated townhouses and teahouses, restaurants serving traditional Kyoto cuisine, and venerable temples and shrines. After Gion, the car will take us back to Kyoto station where we can take the bullet train for around 2 hours back to Tokyo station.
