This tour was so much fun! Our guide, Kiri, was fantastic, explaining foods, traditions, and history as we ate, drank and walked through downtown Tokyo. He was an excellent host; and an accomplished chef as well; doing some of the cooking on the tour. Kiri was eager to give us recommendations for other must see places in Tokyo that we could visit in our free time. The food was amazing, the sake delicious, and a fun evening overall!Yuki (Snoopy) was a fantastic guide and showed us authentic Tokyo tucker! The food was delicious and Yuki’s knowledge extensive. If you are inTokyo and want eat what the locals eat I would recommend this tour.

I have to agree with John45KP - this was not a food tour. We only went to 2 restaurants. We also had Yuki as a guide and he also kept taking us to shops that we didn’t need or want to go to. He talked all the time and most of it was rubbish and nothing to do with food. As this was my first time to Tokyo I was looking for something informative about the food local to the area. There was not much of that to be had. The tour went over time and then he tried to get us to go and have ramen (at our expense) - we declined! Not worth the money spent. Our guide Hiro gave us an excellent and delicious introduction to Japanese food, including yakitori, sweets and monjayaki. A great experience for adults and our teenage children.
