Rob was an excellent tour guide! The local knowledge made it a personalized experience for sure. The food was great, albeit more than we could reasonably eat, even though we arrived hungry! Thanks again!

I was visiting UVa with my teenage daughter and thought to round out the academic with this food tour. Our tour guide was Susan Jones. She was outgoing with a friendly smile that made both of us feel right at home. She regaled us with bits of local history, info about the establishment whose specialties we were sampling, and observations about the foods that enhanced our enjoyment of them. So relaxing and pleasurable! I think my daughter and I will remember this culinary excursion as the favorite part of our trip. The food choices were amazing!!! DELICIOUS bagels, dumplings, middle eastern food and delicious vegetarian options (veggie burgers and caulifower wings)!

Rob was a wonderful tour guide and presented 5 local UVA haunts. He warned us to be hungry! Truly, he was not jesting. The tour included Bobo’s, a popular Chinese restaurant, a Lebanese fast food restaurant, The White Spot..for a taste of a “Gus burger” and a wings joint. We were so full we had to bud the wings to go. He also showed us the memorial to the slaves at UVA that was made by the same person who crafted the Vietnam memorial in D.C. Your tour guide could also be Cindy, a 2nd year student at UVA as he is training her to do tours as well. Lot of history, helpful if you visited Monticello prior to the tour. This tour was top notch and exceeded our expectations. This tour was top notch and exceeded our expectations. Rob was an excellent tour guide and extremely knowledgeable about Charlottesville. We went to five different restaurants at “The Corner”. The portions were very large so definitely come hungry-we were able to take some leftovers home. The tour was about three hours and included some walking on UVA’s campus. Great way to eat delicious food & learn about Charlottesville!
