This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Greyfriars Kirkyard, Candlemaker Row, Edinburgh EH1 2QQ Scotland
We begin our tour in the city's historic Greyfriars Kirkyard where JK Rowling spent a lot of time while writing the books. Here we'll see several names on gravestones that inspired characters in the series including William McGonagall and Thomas Riddell.
From here we will also see two potential inspirations for Hogwarts in the form of George Heriot's School and Edinburgh Castle.

- Usually we would be handing out handmade wands during these tours but that will no longer be happening. Instead visitors are encouraged to bring something they can use as a wand. This can be anything roughly wand-shaped - a pen or an umbrella will work well!

The tour included some really interesting facts about the history and inspiration for the books, and many obscure and fun facts that we would never have learned on our own. I also love that a portion of the profits are donated to the Scottish Trans Alliance and that's what made me choose this particular tour. I'm so glad I did - it was wonderful!
