Stop At: Baga, Baga, Catalonia
8.30am - Where else but in Europe can you visit three countries in one day? Three different countries, three distinctly different atmospheres, stunning drives, and breathtaking scenery.
Depart from Barcelona at 7am, and relax during the scenic journey to Bagà. You will have the chance to marvel at the majestic rocky peaks in the Cadi-Moixeró National Park as we drive to Bagà.
In Bagà, as this sleepy village comes to life, you can get a fresh pastry or sandwich in the local bakery, or a coffee in one of the many typical cafes, before rejoining your guide who will give you a short walking tour of the village before leaving you free time to explore alone.
From Bagà, we will head deeper into the countryside as we drive towards the French border.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Thermes d'Ax, Teich, Ax-les-Thermes France
11.00am - Your next stop is the charming and beautiful ancient spa town of Ax-Les-Thermes.
Your guide will recommend some of the best natural fountains to visit, and those best suitable for soaking your feet in. You will then have free time to enjoy the healing waters, browse the local artisan shops where you can buy local cheeses and cured meats, as well as looking out for a souvenir to remember your visit. After a while of wandering around this typical French village, its time to choose from one of the many local restaurant for a tradition French lunch.
After a memorable French experience, you will meet back at the bus to head towards Andorra.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Pas de la Casa, Pas de la Casa, Encamp Parish
1.30pm - The route takes you through the beautiful Pyrenees Alps to Andorra. One the way we will cross the Pas de la Casa, an amazing high mountain pass with some stunning photo opportunities.
Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: Valle de Incles, Incles Andorra
2.30pm - As we descend into Andorra, we will stop at a typical mountain valley where you will get a glimpse of how Andorra used to be. From here, we will head down the valleys into Andorra La Vella.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Andorra la Vella, Andorra la Vella, Andorra la Vella Parish
3.30pm - Andorra la Vella is the capital of the small but stunning country of Andorra, located high in the east Pyrenees, between France and Spain.
This will be our last stop of the day, but you will have enough time to do a little bit of duty free shopping, grab a quick bargain or walk around its old stone streets and houses.
At about 3:45pm, we will return to the bus and head back to Barcelona via a different route.
This drive takes you through dramatic gorges, past verdant farming land, and alongside lakes and rivers, before the landscape levels out and the lush tones of green of the fields and the shinning grey of the mountain rocks are replaced by the dusty orange and brown hues of this arid landscape.
You will stop enroute for a chance to stretch your legs and quench your thirst, before arriving back in town at about 7:30pm
Duration: 1 hour
Pass By: Ponts, Ponts, Province of Lleida, Catalonia

Judit was very knowledgeable and friendly guide through the beautiful tour. If you’re lucky enough to go with her make sure to ask for her recommendations at each spot and for Barcelona! While on the tour, you will stop at three unique locations. The first a small Spanish village with delicious pastries and fascinating medieval history. The second a French square with picturesque buildings and soothing thermal water pools. Last stop is a shoppers dream with unlimited luxurious options in Andorra. The spacing of these stops is fairly even so you won’t be on the bus for long stretches, typically just 1-2 hours at a time. And while on the bus you’ll hear all about the regions history to keep you entertained. If you go in April or May be prepared for some rain but still a great time.It was a great trip. Very good time. Judit was really a great guide to make the trip even better. Lot of greenery, snow, river, mountains and some very nice Pizzas.
