What to expect
Enjoy a 3 hr. cruise in Faxaflói bay in search for whales and other wildlife. Stunning views on the horizon and excellent onboard services provided. Feel free to borrow our overalls to stay warm on the outside deck.
Most common whales we encounter are humpback whales and minke whales, although other species make their way into the bay a handful of times a year. If no whales or dolphins make an appearance on the tour, we will offer you to try again another day, free of charge!

- The tour may sometimes depart from other harbours when the conditions in Reykjavík are rough. In this case, the tour may be 1-2 hrs. longer than advertised.

- Please note that our fleet is not completely wheelchair accessible as there are steep stairs between lower and upper decks and high thresholds to get from the decks into the saloon as well as from the saloon to the toilets.
- Wheelchair users are welcome to bring a foldable chair onboard our bigger boats, but if possible, please advise our office prior to departure as we may need to assist with boarding.
- Mask use in public areas is optional.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

What an excellent tour! The crew really considers responsibility in their tours. Whales are not disturbed too much. For examle they stopped engines to prevent noise. Respect!Great trip, the weather is windy so wrap up, sighting the whales is an amazing experience, although I really thought I'd see more than a tail (or hoped) the crew were fantastic, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Although we didn't see many, it was amazing to see the whales. We also just enjoyed being out on the boat. The guide and the staff were very friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend checking out this tour.

Sure but have your expectations set to not knowing how the whales are gonna behave. You might only see a fin or two.
