The walking tour itself was quite short, just a couple of blocks around the museum but a lot of talking. We went to the museum afterwards and all the same information we heard from the guide was there, overall not very impressed.

It was not far to walk but still a lot to see and interesting! I absolutely recommend it.

Joel was a super guide - super knowledgeable with dates, facts, and historical snippets - and wonderfully able to weave this inventory into story and even personal anecdotes. I especially loved his point to connect the built environment with the codes / zoning regulations that fostered the style and now enforce its preservation. As an architect, I can be quite critical of tours like this - but yesterday I was very satisfied with Joel’s reading of the city as an architect would. 10/10 recommend!
