The Maui Butterfly Farm Tour!
Overview
We are the oldest butterfly farm in Hawaii and the only one that offers private tours of a butterfly farm in the State. We are a certified Monarch Waystation and strive to save the butterflies through propagation, research and education. We’re the only place in the Islands to see live Hawaiian butterflies in our walk in butterfly flight house. Unlike Mainland butterfly farms, all of our butterflies are home bred and hand raised on our organic farm. We do not purchase or ship in our butterflies from abroad, therefore all of our butterflies are endemic to Hawaii.

Visit our butterfly production facility and the different types of butterflies that we raise here in Hawaii. Feed our butterflies in the butterfly flight house. Learn how we aim to save the butterflies through propagation, research and education.

Stumbled upon here while driving past. Did not know there was such a thing as a butterfly farm! Charming little farm, with friendly staff and everything fits right in with that island vibe. I was with my husband and a 1 year old. While she has the attention span of a baby, my husband and I felt so much joy holding butterflies and trying to get them to land on us. They kept landing on my baby's shoe! it just felt so magical and beautiful, perfect to visit whether you're young or young at heart. It's an Immersive experience, you're right in there with nature and surrounded by lots of chicks and roosters! The tour was also super interesting, with knowledgeable staff (we had Stephanie) and she was friendly, kind, and kept us intrigued and fascinated! We left loving butterflies even more! So much happiness to be found in this place. Then right afterwards (or before) head on over to the juice truck nearby or Leoda's pie shop! It ended up being the most perfect outing.My husband and I had a great time visiting the butterflies! Our tour guide was so friendly. It was a fun way to start our vacation
