The Largest Floating Market and Unique Chocolate Farm
Overview
We will then cruise into the jungle and small, yet complex canal system, which provides a serene home to diverse flora and fauna. Allow yourself time to relax and meditate on this part of the trip, which offers a tranquil contrast to the hustle of the market.
Next on our trip is a visit to an organic cocoa farm. The owner’s father brought the plants back from a trip in Malaysian in 1960 introducing an extremely different crop to the region. All hand made and processed, these chocolate goods are labour of love for this family. Discover more about the process and sample some delicious goods.
Over four decades ago, a noodle village was established, which we will then visit. Here, we can participate in the making of local noodles in the traditional way.

It's amazing how well Giang organizes this tour, making such a great effort to make all of us learn, experience, eat, smile a lot. He has great knowledge, sense of humor, and is really taking care of us from the beginning until the very end of the tour. (He also took many pictures of us, which will be shared right after the tour! Great memories) Usually guests are small numbers (around 4 to 6 people) and this is great size on the small boat. Not only the Floating Market but we also had a chance to go Cacao Farm and Rice paper factory! There are many so-called "floating market" tours in Can Tho but you do not need to look further, just book with this great authentic tour. We had a great time - going around the Mekong delta rivers and cannals, seeing the market and the Vietnamese people. Hi, we just came back from a Mekong Delta tour where we had the best guide ever Jiang Ruan and his friend Nhuong. Both of them are very knowledgeable, kind and friendly doing their maximum to show us the authenticity of Mekong Delta life. This was the first experience where I felt like a honest guest and friend and not just a walking wallet. The whole trip was perfectly planed and prepared, we got so many new information and experiences but it wasn’t exhausting like the other tours can be. I can’t thank enoughWe had a brilliant tour with Yan on the Mekong Delta. Yan was a super fun host who made sure that all his guests had a brilliant time. The tour was as promised and so much more. We had a brilliant tour with Yan on the Mekong Delta. Yan was a super fun host who made sure that all his guests had a brilliant time. The tour was as promised and so much more. It was almost a food tour - we got to try so many great bites! This isn’t your average tourist tour. Unlike many other tour reviews in this area mentioned, we weren’t encouraged or asked to buy anything. No one tried to force anything on us. The group size is small (max 6) and the boat is small and authentic. The lady who drives the boat is so sweet and prepares a few surprises along the way. Yes, the places you visit are touristy. But they’re a good kind of touristy. Interesting and fun. We learnt a thing or two, saw some beautiful sights and had a great time. Yes there is a lot of trash on the Delta. That’ll be the same on every tour though. It’s still worth going though. It’s been one of our favorite experiences in Viet Nam. This tour is highly recommended to everyone!
