Overview
The Irish Dance Experience lets you give Irish dancing a whirl in a lively, friendly and inclusive environment. Come alone or with company, and take to the floor with like-minded dancers-to-be.
We are professional dancers who have all danced on the Riverdance stage.
At the Irish Dance Experience, we’ll help you tap into the rhythm of Galway as you swing, shuffle and batter your way around the dance floor.

You’ll leave your 60-90 minute session with:
Steps from 3 styles of Irish dancing: Step Dancing (Riverdance-style), Sean Nós Dancing (old-style), Céilí/Set Dancing (group/social)

A greater appreciation of Irish dance, music and culture
Memories to treasure forever

She taught our group of 18 three dances - and made it easy and fun for us all… lots of laughter … You can proceed at your own pace … Just great fun.. Thank you Siobhán!

We had an amazing experience - I strongly recommend this activity. First, the group of students in our particular class included people of all ages and genders. You do not need a partner. Second, the instructor, Siobhan, was fantastic! She gave clear instructions, taught us fun dances, exhibited tremendous patience :) , and was friendly and fun. Don't worry if you don't know how to dance! Take this class just for the experience. When else and where else in your life are you going to get a lesson in Irish dancing???I had so much fun learning these dances. The group was open and willing,and Siobhan is kind and extremely talented. She had us dancing in no time! The space in the old Claddagh Hall contributed to the authenticity of the experience.
