The GRAND TOUR, snow landing (allow 40 minutes - departing Franz Josef)
Overview
The “grand-daddy” of all flights! Explore both glaciers as well as taking in Mount Cook and Mount Tasman. We top this off by landing you on the snow for photo opportunities. As a bonus, weather permitting we cross the main divide for you to view the Tasman Glacier. This will be your ultimate helicopter scenic flight excursion from Fox or Franz Josef on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island. Be sure to have plenty of space on your camera memory card and bring your phone as well. You will be amazed by the stunning scenery topped off with the snow landing where you will have the chance to photograph the magnificent scenery.

The staff are so friendly and professional, and we feel like we are in such good hands because they are doing their very best to ensure our safety and great experience. They were honest and were ready to refund us the money if we can't fly due to the weather. Nous avons eu la chance d'être surclassé pour un tour plus long. Le temps était dégagé et ensoleillé. Les vols et l'organisation sont bien huilés. C'était fabuleux. Les tarifs sont les mêmes ou presque pour toutes les compagnies. Petit bémol : la photo prise par le pilote sur le glacier (vendue 20$) est un super souvenir mais cher pour une qualité vraiment très médiocre (prise avec un téléphone ayant une résolution basse ou imprimante de basse qualité). Ci sono diversi tour che si possono fare, alcuni più corti e altri più lunghi che arrivano fino al ghiacciaio Tasman. Avevamo optato per questo ma purtroppo le condizioni metereologiche non permettevano la traversata completa. In ogni caso la mattinata era splendida ed il giro è stato veramente bello, soprattutto per l'atterraggio sul ghiacciaio in mezzo alle montagne.
