The Brokenwood Journey
Overview
After arriving at Brokenwood’s cellar door concierge, your journey will begin with an intimate tasting in our private tasting room. Your personal host will guide you through six premium Brokenwood wines (three white and three red) as you enjoy six specially prepared canapés. You will have the chance to meet the chef of The Wood Restaurant as he takes you through each unique food match.
Continue your experience with a behind the scenes tour of the winery where you will learn all aspects of winemaking and delve deep into the history of Brokenwood Wines.
Your tour ends in the barrel hall with the opportunity to taste pre-release Brokenwood wine straight from the barrel.

My wife and I booked in for a food and wine tasting with the Brokenwood Journey Tour. I have to say WOW. We had the best day, learnt a lot about wine in general and simply just had an awesome experience. I cannot highly recommend it enough. The staff are amazing and friendly. James our host did a stellar job just made it perfect. TOP JOB!!As newbs to wine and food pairing, this experience was exceptional. Learnt more about wine and the making of it in this one sitting than the 20 years of drinking it. Amy was absolutely wonderful and walked us passionately through the tasting and tour. Highly recommend!

I have never felt more welcome than at Brokenwood Wines - I didn’t have a booking yet Elaine managed to accommodate us on a busy day and nothing was a problem. Kate looked after us prior to our tasting and Charlie guided us over the next 45 minutes expertly through a snapshot of the great Brokenwood range. I was so enamored that I signed up happily for the ‘Single Vineyard Club’ and took home immediately a six pack of the flagship ‘Graveyard’ Shiraz range. We were then taken care of yet again by Elaine and Kate as we had some lunch at the cellar door restaurant and the whole experience made for a very memorable day and the highlight of our trip. We can’t wait to return!
