I would recommend doing in tandem with another tour, so maybe a hike and then Blue Lagoon (more effective for the body and the bank account). Definitely a tourist trap, but going to Iceland and not going to the Blue Lagoon is like going to Italy and not eating pasta. Would recommend but going to the local geothermal pools is much better. Also for girls - do not put your hair in the water unless you want hair like straw.Beautiful experience and excellent organization except for the distribution of towels. Beautiful experience and excellent organization except for the distribution of towels. About pick up/drop off booking to the Blue Lagoon. On the day of the pick up at 14,30 at stop 8 nobody came to collect us and we went to the terminal at our expenses (see my test about it: (we are freezing at stop 8). On the way back the driver left us to the terminal and told us to wait for a green line(stop 8). After more than 20 minutes waiting we walk to our hotel because we were tired and very cold. I am afraid that in this occasion you failed. Because of that i ask a ful refund for this service that i did not get. This is the main reason i cannot give 5 stars. It’s quite fun and I am pregnant so was more cautious about staying in the water for long periods of time. It does get quite hot in some areas of the lagoon but overall quite fun. I liked the flexible ticket on the way back and they had another bus when the first one got full. We were also able to be dropped off at the centre so that was really helpful.My husband and I visited on 11.02.23 in gales and hale storms but still had a great time. It was easy to follow all the instructions on use of wrist bands lockers etc. I was ill whilst there and staff were so wonderful and supportive. Excellent tour! The Blue Lagoon is a must see and experience when in Iceland. It is gorgeous. The water is warm and relaxing. The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and accommodating. You definitely do not want to miss it. The bus station and bus were easy to find and clean. The tour left on time. You are given multiple different options for departure bus times when leaving the Blue Lagoon. There are two cafeterias to get food and drinks or a full-service restaurant. Our whole family loved it!
