Mark is an Englishman who plainly loves Salamanca and has lived here for 20 years. The tour combines not only the history of the city, the university and its main buildings, but a feel for the people and is interspersed with snippets from conversations with those involved in he buildings. You come away with a real idea of what Salamanca represents and it’s place in Spain and the wider world. Some useful tips on dining and visits as well. Worth doing the trip early as the list of what we wanted to see was much longer than the remainder of our stay.
