We will stop to visit the charming villages of: Vernazza, the tiniest and most unique village thanks to its medieval castle; Manarola, with its ancient case-torri; and Monterosso, the biggest fishing village of the Cinque terre. This day trip was amazing. Although the weather was iffy at first the trip was well worth it (the sun did come out). Valerie from Come and See Italy met us along with another couple in Montecatini Terme and then picked up two more couples @ Lucca and Viareggio for a small group tour. The scenery was absolutely amazing. Valerie was a superb guide, friendly, personable and a wealth of knowledge. She truly made the experience. We would definitely book another tour with the company and would love to have Valerie as our guide. My husband and I took our free day from our group tour to spend the day visiting the Cinque Terre - and it was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I took our free day from our group tour to spend the day visiting the Cinque Terre - and it was absolutely wonderful. We were picked up in the town we were staying in and had the best experience with 6 other people from different countries. Our guide, Valerie, was informative, funny, caring and so helpful to all of us. She is an incredible woman and made the day one of the best we had in Italy!! You should know that these "towns" are built into incredibly steep hills and you should be prepared for a lot of very strenuous walking. It is not for those who have mobility issues. Our guide ellienora was excellent but the trains were overcrowded and difficult. The villages were very crowded..too much for us. We did enjoy seeing the beauty and experience of the villages. Again, guides were terrific!

What a BEAUTIFUL and wonderful tour. Elena was such a great tour leader! She gave us so much information and was so personable. The sea was calm that day, so we were able to ride on the boat from Manarola (our personal favorite village) to Vernazza and Monterosso. The views are breathtaking and the water is absolutely beautiful. All 3 villages had something unique about them. This is a must do if you have a day to see this beautiful part of Italy. We would definately go back! What a fabulous tour!! This is the only way I would recommend touring Cinque Terre. Our guide, Elena, was fabulous, friendly and very knowledgeable. What a fabulous tour!! This is the only way I would recommend touring Cinque Terre. Our guide, Elena, was fabulous, friendly and very knowledgeable. The drive from Montecantini was the only way to travel and the driver and vehicle were perfect for this day trip. The only flaw of the day was no solid plan on how to handle a missing couple that ended up costing us an hour at the last stop. We highly recommend this tour.My husband and I had a thoroughly wonderful day on a trip to Cinque Terre, from Montecatini Terme, Saturday 20th April 2019. My husband and I had a thoroughly wonderful day on a trip to Cinque Terre, from Montecatini Terme, Saturday 20th April 2019. A wonderful Guide whom was so informative, (we had this same guide last year on a couple of other trips). It made all the difference having her as we knew how good she would be. There was so much to do and see in that time, and went by boat and train during some of that time.
