one of six most important temples in Bali, has been believed to be a very sacred temple by Balinese people. It is located on the slope of Mount Lempuyang 600 metres (2, 000 ft) high above sea level. According to Balinese beliefs, they are the pivotal points of the island and are meant to provide spiritual balance to Bali.

The Tirta Gangga royal water garden is a favourite retreat in the regency of Karangasem, east Bali. It was built in 1946 during the reign of the late raja of Karangasem, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem (1887 - 1966). Tirta Gangga saw a series of restorations following the destructive hot showers of volcanic ash from the 1963 Mount Agung eruption. The lavish water gardens owned by the royal Karangasem family feature 1.2ha of pools, ponds and fountains surrounded by neatly cut lawns adorned with stepping stones, ornate statues and tropical gardens.

Awan hatt uns morgens püntlich abgeholt und hatt den Tag nach unseren Bedürfnissen angepasst. Er war stehts freundlich und man hatt sich direkt wohl gefühlt. Er erzählte uns viel über die balinesische Kultur und über die einzelnen Regionen die wir durchfahren haben. Bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten die er uns gezeigt hatt, wusste er immer über alles bescheid. The tour was great with the tour guide Dewa Putu Suarbawa. He is an experienced and flexible driver taking us to the places we wanted to go, besides the sightseeings, such as delicious and cheap local restaurants, fruits providers for salak and durian. He was also awful for driving us safely despite the bad weather. He is sooooo knowledgeable, sharing local stories about Bali during the tour which I treasured the most for my culture exploration journey. The car condition was great, no smell, no car sick. Together with the talkative driver, I was still full of energy after the full-day trip. There are a lot more about the good services that this tour & the tour guide has provided, but let keep them for my own memories and you explore by yourself then (new tourists).
