I cannot speak to the tour itself, as our tour was cancelled - without notice - after the confirmed and scheduled start time and after we had been waiting at the designated starting point for 15 minutes. Moreover, the operator made no effort to remedy the circumstances. When I asked about rescheduling or discounts for other experiences, the operator curtly responded that there was no availability to reschedule and that “no promotions are available at this time.” We planned our afternoon around this tour and some level of respect for our time would have gone a long way. From photos with the first blooming cherry blossoms and a visit to a local market to a introduction to a local shrine and eating fresh mochi on the river bank, it was a morning to remember. Thank you Eiji!!It’s always fun to see a new city by bike and Kyoto is a perfect place for sight seeing by bike as it is pretty flat. Our guide Eiji was very friendly, knowledgeable, and showed us many of the beautiful spots of Kyoto. He also shared recommendations for after our tour.
