My partner, myself and a girlfriend visiting from Australia decided on this tour we also had one other keen foodie join our group making us a four which was perfect for getting around the markets and being able to ask plenty of questions. Our tour guide was Kate she was very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. We were introduced to so many new tastes mostly delicious some an acquired taste 😋 we met many of Hua Hin’s famous street vendors and restauranteur’s that have perfected their recipes over generations. I for one feel a lot more confident in recognising items available at the local markets that previously I was unsure about. Word of warning go there hungry there is so much food. As the confirmation email says, have nothing for breakfast. Our first destination kicked off with rice congee, a heartwarming dish which was followed by many stops in the market where Kate explained every morsel we sampled. Balance a plate with your fellow traveller on your palm and dig in right in the heart of a market as people, vendors and motorbikes whizz past you. Despite being a foodie, I learnt quite a few new spices, snacks and tasted herbs along the tour that were new to me. They run small groups so it feels very personal. The tour ends with bigger bites so pace yourself as you eat through the morning. If the chillies start to kick in at your last stop, share a beer with your fellow travellers [at your own cowt] as you feast on a som tum prepared by one of you. Put this high on your list of things to do in Hua Hin.We spent nearly 4 hours visiting local markets stalls and sitting in cosy retaurants trying amazing food some of which I'd never seen or tasted before. We spent nearly 4 hours visiting local markets stalls and sitting in cosy retaurants trying amazing food some of which I'd never seen or tasted before. The vibrant atmosphere of the market in the morning is great watching local vendors prepare their produce. I also enjoyed walking around rather than transport. It allows you to work off some of the indulgences and its not rushed at all. There's plenty of food you may not need dinner. This is a great tour for anyone who really appreciates food and wants to learn something about Thai culture along the way. Plenty of photos ops too.

The weather was really heavy rain and Leigh came out to meet us and say hello and actually took us umbrellas which was really kind of her before we left the market and headed to the streets !!! Much appreciated indeed.
The last stop was closed where we were to have a special meal which was just one of those things but we found another restaurant which had some interesting and different food.
No hesitation in recommending the tour and a good way to start the day !!
Local guide Cream is well informed and delighted in sharing knowledge and experience of spices and herbs used in Thai foods. The sweet and savoury foods we tasted were delicious. A truly rewarding experience of Hua Hin's local market. Highly recommend!
