You will have the opportunity to get to know and discover the local dishes in one of the many typical places that Isola dei Pescatori offers and stroll through the splendid palaces and gardens of Isola Bella e Madre.
You will be entitled to priority boarding, avoiding the queue.
Embark from Stresa Piazza Marconi to reach the Borromeo Islands, you can organize the itinerary between the islands and the time of your sight according to your needs.

Isola Madre: stands in the middle of the gulf and features a magnificent Renaissance palace, surrounded by one of the oldest and most important gardens in Italy. The mild climate of the island has allowed over the centuries to create a wonderful botanical garden with subtropical varieties, unique and rare species of camellias, azaleas and rhododendrons.
Isola dei Pescatori: the most picturesque of the islands, it owes its name to the activity of its inhabitants. Its charm is given by the archaic simplicity, by the pleasant whiteness of the houses and alleys. In addition to the typical local handicraft shops on the island, it is possible to taste delicious lake fish dishes in the renowned restaurants and trattorias.
Isola Bella: the most famous of the three islands, it hosts the princely Borromeo palace surrounded by an Italian garden, built from ten terraces. The baroque palace contains a real museum where it is possible to admire original furnishings, Flemish tapestries in gold and silk, period weapons, sculptures, paintings and frescoes dated between the 16th and 19th centuries.

If the manager I spoke with on the phone and who met me at the boat hadn’t called me a “stronzo” as he walked off just because I showed him that my ticket was for 3 islands and not 2 islands, I would have rated this a lot higher. If the manager I spoke with on the phone and who met me at the boat hadn’t called me a “stronzo” as he walked off just because I showed him that my ticket was for 3 islands and not 2 islands, I would have rated this a lot higher. That’s not the way to treat guests. I let it slide as my family and I just wanted to have a good time. All the other staff were super friendly, polite and showed up on time. My family and I had a boat to ourselves whenever we needed it (just had to call to give 20 mins notice) and we didn’t have to deal with queues. It can be done a lot cheaper for a family of 5, but we loved the convenience and having the entire boat to ourselves.K7553OHstefaniaa
