You will visit ancient capital of of Armenia, Artashat which is bordering with Turkey.There and ancient prison where St.Gregory wast set for 13 years.

Stop At: Noravank Monastery, NoravankMonastery Road Amaghu Valley, Areni 3604 Armenia
Noravank is a beautiful monastery of 13th century based high on the pink rocks.There you also can see wild goats climbing on the rocks if you are lucky.

Stop At: Tatev Monastery, Highway 45, Tatev 3218 Armenia
Tatev monastery is 9th century complex on the rocks.You will use the longest aerial tramway in the world to reach there.

Stop At: Shaki Waterfall, Sisian Armenia
One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Armenia where you will take a rest and enjoy the cold breeze of water.

An utterly amazing trip and well worth the money. We started early in the fog which lasted most of the trip! We missed Shaki (the waterfall) because of the fog, But we did see Mount Ararat (various views on the way out and the way back), we did go on the cablecar ride (still in fog!) and we did love the monasteries and all the history. Our last stop at Noravank was outstanding. So much history! The roads on this trip were great so dont let the long hours turn you off what was our best trip in Armenia. Remember that the driver is only that, not a guide. So read up on the places you will stop and check with the driver that you are at a certain place. We had a bad experience with our first driver smelling of smoke and no English language so we enquired about this before the trip and were ensured we would okay. Our driver was a beautiful man, great driver and very approachable. I'm sorry that I cannot remember his name. Perhaps a tip for this company would be to have the name of the driver in the car so passengers could see it and use the correct spelling in reviews.The best tour in Armenia.
