Take a walk around the biggest and oldest Zagreb green market and taste some of the fresh ingredients and dishes.

One of the food stops where you will taste traditional Zagreb cheese pastry dish
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Tkalciceva Street, Zagreb Croatia
A walk through Zagreb's most lively street where you'll eat and drink some local specialties as well

Absolutely fantastic tour, one of the highlights of our trip. Definitely don't eat a breakfast before you go. It was all around the city centre at locations that locals go to. All places are affordable and easy to get back to for lunch, snacks or present shopping on other days. This tour would be a great way to start your city break or even your trip to Croatia. Our guide was Vid who was so friendly, knowledgeable and set a lovely pace and tone with the tour. The 3-4 hours flew by between bites and insightful conversations about Croatian (and even world) food and culture. By the end it felt like we had just spent the morning hanging out with friends! Don't miss the tour if you like sweet, savoury, street food and chocolate :)This tour was a great surprise. I wasn't expecting much since food tours are often lacking imho, but this one left me well fed & satisfied. Can't lie & say that Strukli didn't play a major part in that, but everything, from the places to eat to the guide was great. Fully recommend this one.

He told us about Zagreb, that made this tour even more special. My husband and I were very pleased with the food, we love to eat. The most interesting and delicious dish was Strukli. I warmly recommend the one with the truffles. I'm going to need a recipe for that. Go, you won’t regret.
