The tour offers pickup from your accommodation if within 3 km radius of Galway city.
Otherwise CLADDAGH HALL on NIMMO’S PIER is our meeting point.
Then sit back and enjoy the short journey to our starting point at Barna Golf Club.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Bearna Golf and Country Club, Oddacres, Corboley Ireland
We will start with a familiarisation of your RadRhino electric bike.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Barna, Barna, Galway, County Galway, Western Ireland
From the country roads of Barna we can enjoy fabulous views overlooking Galway Bay across to The Burren in Co. Clare. Depending on weather conditions we can also see The Aran Islands in the Atlantic Ocean.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Furbo, Furbo, County Galway, Western Ireland
The country lanes surrounding Furbo provide us with an opportunity for a short break. Enjoy the nature and see turf in its various stages being prepared for winter fuel in the bog lands.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Spiddal, Spiddal, County Galway, Western Ireland
The Irish speaking seaside village of Spiddal is our destination. At the pretty Craft Village we take time to relax and can explore the local craft shops and café. Enjoy a stroll by the ocean or perhaps be brave enough to take a swim !

Stop At: Furbo, Furbo, County Galway, Western Ireland
Our return from Spiddal takes us along similar quiet country lanes. At Furbo we take a detour which leads to a very quaint old bog road. This journey back in time is a highlight for most guests as we enjoy the peace and tranquility along this single lane track across the bog.

Sit back in comfort as you are returned to your guest accommodation or to the meeting point in Galway City.

Only about half of the group had any experience on an e-bike, but by the time we finished the almost 2 hour bike in the Connemara area, we were all energized and bonded by such a good time , not to mention pretty proficient riding the 5 speed assist bikes. We all love the fat tire experience! Our guide was funny, an excellent instructor. He was attentive to everyone’s needs and safety. We planned for a full day in Connemara but the weather turned for the worse. Martin quickly worked with us to deliver a great riding experience to get a “Taste of it” - and the trip was FANTASTIC! And it’s not just the ride - from planning to pick up to travel to conversation to evening recommendations - Martin is on top of it all…. We came back from the tour aching from laughter. He was super accommodating as we were a large group of varying abilities and nothing was to much trouble. He never rushed us and let us thoroughly enjoy every part of the tour. The bikes are amazing too. He recommended us to a few fabulous restaurants during our stay which did not disappoint! The bikes are great, we spent almost 3h biking and we had a quick break close to the sea just the time to have a hot chocolate and have a quick walk to discover the area. The landscapes were amazing, absolutely beautiful, we have the chance to see some cows and Connemara poneys as well!
