Tango lesson and Milonga tour
Overview
The activity is semi private, we handle small groups so they feel accompanied and can learn and ask everything they want!
Inclusions
- Alcoholic Beverages
- Private transportation
- Ticket to the milonga
What to expect
The activity begins with a personalized tango class, where you will learn everything you need to enjoy after the milonga. The class will be held in an old Buenos Aires convent, where you can also see how it was inhabited at the beginning of the 20th century.
If you already know how to dance, we can improve your technique, and give you new tools.
The class lasts 60 minutes. Then, we will all go together to a milonga (social place, where we dance every night).
In the milonga they have a drink included.
We will stay with you for 2 hours in the milonga, and then you can stay on your own if you wish.

Very enjoyable way to learn basic tango steps and practice with the locals! Katarina was a great guide and explained a lot of tango culture and history to us, and was also able to adapt on the fly to our requests and interests. Only wish is that we had gone to a milonga with more locals at it, but it was also during the World Cup celebrations so there were some safety concerns at a couple of places. We really enjoyed seeing how informal and relaxed our teacher, Catalina, and her partner were. Dancing in crocs and sneakers while we arrived with rusty skills and leather-soled shoes! They gave us the confidence to venture out onto the dance floor again after many years of not dancing.
