Arrived in Agra driver was waiting and tour guide was brilliant, took all our photos, very knowledgeable about the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort - a great day, it’s a long day but so worth it. Amin tours are efficient, professional and have your safety and enjoyment at their heart. My friend and I took a day trip to Agra from Delhi and were looking for an english speaking guide to show us around for the day. Where we already had a private driver booked in advance from Delhi, Amin was very accommodating in providing us a fair rate for a guide without driving services. If you are in Agra, we would highly suggest requesting Shaan as your guide! Not only did Shaan make my friend and I as two women travelers feel totally comfortable in a busy city, his knowledge of the Taj Mahal, the Agra Fort, the city of Agra and beautiful country of India was amazing. We absolutely loved spending the day with Shaan, learning about the history and culture, and are so happy to have had such an incredible experience!! We booked this trip based on previous reviews and were not wrong to do so, this tour was brilliant from the minute we were picked up to the minute we were dropped off.A 5:10 am start and the driver picked us up on the dot and drove us to station, showed us all the way to our seats on train! 2 hour journey was very interesting as 1st time in India. Arrived at Agra station and met by our driver for the day, Sanjay, we picked up the guide in the way and set off to Taj Mahal. The tour guide was excellent and very experienced and as you expect gives you so much information but also took photos (on our phones) in great positions. Agra fort was also very good despite the heat at every point we were picked up by Sanjay and taken to next spot in an A/C car which was very welcome in the 38 degree heat.. The drive back to Delhi was 3.5 hours but passed so quickly seeing the sites of India, couple of welcome stops for drinks and a stretch, again our driver, Sanjay, was brilliant if you know the traffic in Delhi you know what i mean when i say we always felt safe. Overall i cannot praise this trip highly enough, it was brilliant and so well managed, we even got to meet Amin who is very nice and helpful. We were going to book another trip but ran out of time sadly. If you are going to Agra book this tour you will be very pleased you did. The entire experience was excellent in every way. Some of India can be quite tricky to navigate. The driver picked me up from my hotel and took me to the train station and I made it to Agra several hours later with no problems. My terrific tour guide (Khalid) spoke English and French very fluently. During our conversations, he incorporated the history of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort with the various buildings, designs and historic sights throughout the city. He is a great photographer and took many great pictures with my iPhone. We visited an incredible restaurant which capped off the trip splendidly. My driver Rajuddin also did a great job taking us around the city. I reached Deli safely later that evening. I would earnestly recommend this tour or one of the other Amin Days Tours in a heartbeat. This is the perfect option for the busy traveler who only has a day or two free but would like to experience the sites and sounds of Agra.
