Witness the dramatic interplay of light as the sun rises and casts its golden rays over the pearl white tomb, recreating the magic of the Taj. Once you have taken some memorising morning photos, there is time to explore the Taj .

Agra Fort, An outstanding example of Mughal architecture and stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. Shah Jahan, the creator of Taj, spent the last years of his life time imprisonment awarded by his son Aurangzeb, here. It was built in the late 1560`s by their predecessor, Akbar, with later embellishments by Jahangir, his son, and Shah Jahan, his grandson. Later on, enjoy exquisite lunch at 5 Star Courtyard Marriott hotel.
After visiting Agra Fort your driver will drop you to Delhi which will take around 3 hour.

Travelled with a 3 year old for the same day Agra tour. Zeeshan was the guide and photographer for the tour. We were welcomed by him and the driver at the Delhi airport. We were able to visit Etmad ud daulah (Baby Taj), Mehtab bagh gardens (Across river), Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri. We thoroughly enjoyed learning the history and the intricacies involved with the artwork. Zeeshan was very knowledgeable about the monuments and was very accomodative. Well organised! We really enjoyed our day trip to the Taj Mahal from Delhi and here are the strong points: 1. Flexibility; instead of visiting Agra Fort, we asked to go to Fatehpur Sikri and have an earlier start to avoid the crowd at the Taj Mahal. It was easily arranged, no fuss and incredibly smooth. 2. The team: Shiva, our driver, was very friendly and happy to share information or stop for us to take pictures of the landscape. He is probably the best driver I’ve had in India and we felt very safe (It takes about 5 minutes from your first visit to India to understand how difficult it can be to drive here) Bhuvan, our guide at the Taj Mahal was very knowledgable and walked us efficiently from one place to the other providing relevant details and historical facts. The same applied with our guide khan at Fatehpur Sikri whom also has a very good sense of humour! 3. The sites: Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri are 2 “must see” places when you are visiting this part of India. You will be amazed by the craftsmanship and the history behind. Also, having a guide with you will help to travel back in time and stimulate your imagination. 4. Timing: we did not have much time and this tour was definitely the best option for us! We got the opportunity to enjoy without feeling rushed and while learning heaps!
